joni mitchell is one of my favorite singers in this whole world. last christmas i got the blue record and listen to it just as much as the day i got it. a case of you is one of my favorite songs from that album and is pretty special in my book. james blake's cover holds the same meaning as the original. here's the video for a case of you with the beautiful actress rebecca hall.

chiddy bang: ray charles

i've got a fun new track for you courtesy of chiddy bang. this is the first single off the upcoming Breakfast album. about the song, chiddy says

"The song actually started out as a joke when my brother, Cheeseburger Don, got so high he fell asleep in the studio with his sunglasses on. I looked over and he reminded me of Ray Charles, probably because I was high, too. I started freestyling about him and we laid it down right there."

florence + the machine's new album 'ceremonials' is just wonderful. i hated it at first but eventually it grew on me. you definitely gotta download it! my favorite tracks besides the singles are: Never Let Me Go, Lover to Lover, No Light, No Light, and Spectrum.
